Navigating through a thick layer of folders can be a real effort, especially if you have to put an entire project on hold, until you find a specific file. Folder Organizer can help you reach any folder on the hard drive instantly. Instead of exploring countless sub-folders and wasting precious time, you can just select it in a pop-up menu and continue your work. The application can be configured with only a few clicks, even by novice users.

Folder Organizer comes in a small package, which can be downloaded in a few seconds. The installation process is just as fast and it involves only a few simple settings. The application works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and it doesn't have a significant impact on a computer's performance.

While the application is running on your computer, you may click its system tray icon and select a folder's shortcut, in a pop-up menu, to open the folder on a standard explorer window. If a folder is already opened, the application will restore its window, instead of opening a new one. You can find shortcuts for common places, like the Documents and Downloads folders, but you can also find shortcuts for system folders, links or desktop folders and drives, in separate sub-menus.

The application allows you to add your own folders in the same menu. Folders can be selected and arranged on a user friendly interface, which you can bring up by selecting the appropriate option, in the shortcuts pop-up menu. You just need to add your folders to a list, one by one, by selecting them with a standard browsing option. Their positions in the list can be changed with Up and Down buttons, located on a toolbar. Your added folders will appear automatically, in the same order, in the shortcuts pop-up menu.

Pros

You can access any folder on your hard drive instantly. The application allows you to organize countless folder shortcuts in the same pop-up menu. Folder Organizer can be installed fast and it is very easy to use.

Cons

The application is free to try for a maximum of 15 days. With Folder Organizer, you can access hard to reach folders instantly, regardless of how many windows you have on your screen or what applications you are running.
